Based on Homer’s Iliad, Troy is the story of war between Troy and Sparta. Among other places, Malta is where Troy was filmed. In the box office the movie grossed just under $500M. Many locations were used to bring the epic movie to life, but mostly in Malta. Other countries where the crew went include; Mexico, London and Morocco.
