Skyfall has its initial release on 23 Oct, 2012. As usual the movie was filmed is exotic and unique locations matching up to the reputation of the James bond franchise. So where was Skyfall filmed? Here are the locations.

Skyfall was filmed in in Scotland, United Kingdom Istanbul(Turkey) and China.
Scotland - Among the most amazing locations was the Glencoe Highlands in Scotland which includes parts with Bond and M. The Glencoe Highlands has beautiful landscape, wild stags that roam the wilderness and some local wildlife to add to the charm.
In the UK (which is the principal Skyfall film location) place included scenes shot in Southwark and Whitehall, Canary Wharf, the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the National Gallery, Smithfield meat market and St Bartholomew’s Hospital (which was the area chosen for when Daniel Craig enters MI6′s underground headquarters),Charing Cross station (not main line but, Jubilee line) .
Turkey- Fethiye, Turkey is a famous tourist spot in the region. Yachts, boats that line up the marina gives it a Monaco-like feel. The Saklikent Gorge is another place where people visit while in the city. In addition to Fethiya, other places where Skyfall was filmed included the Spice Market and Grand Bazaar (where the vendors we compensation $400+ a day for letting the film take the area).
