Viking Ship Museum Attractions
All of the ships were built no later than the 900 AD which was the peak of the viking culture. The Oseberg ship is probably the most interesting one. With some stunning animal ornaments left on the surface of the ship, it makes a exhibit definitely worth seeing. The exhibits of the museums include several other artifacts as well – beds, horse carts, weapons, jewelry and others. Vikingskipshuset is a great tourist destination, especially for families with children.
