Whale watching in Tadoussac
Whale watching is the main attraction in the Saguenay St. Lawrence Marine Park in Saguenay – St. Lawrence Marine Park. The best times to see whales is in the beginning of fall, though it does get a little cold in the boat. Take a waterproof jacket, gloves, warm cap and a scarf to keep you warm and dry. Sunglasses are useful to keep the sun glare out. You have two boat options: -
A small boat that seats 12 to 18 specialized for whale watching at close distance (enough to have the whale’s water spout reach you). If you are going on a cold day, there is the risk of being out in the cold for 2 to 3 hours.

Hiking is a common pastime for those who plan longer stays. Parc national du Saguenay has many hiking trails. You can ask the local tourism office which is hard to miss of where to start and a handy map.
Bear Safari, Tadoussac - If you have a car, then use the local map from the tourism office to get to this place. There are specific operating hours so make sure you ask the help desk before heading to the safari. Kids are sure to love this.
