Their height is over 500 feet and the sight of the enormous amounts of water dropping down every second is truly powerful. Before arriving at the falls, you can use the service of a resort that is situated in Papallacta and head to the site the next morning. The entrance fee for visiting the San Rafael Falls is $10 and you must take a 15-minute walk through the jungle to reach the site. On your way, you will even observe the lava and smoke of the nearby volcano.
