How to get to Ruma National Park
You can access the park from Kisumu via Home Bay. You can also reach the park from Mbita. It takes about 45 minutes drive from Mbita. Ruma National Park Wildlife
Ruma National Park is home to Roan antelope, which can be found only in this park. Apart from this, leopard, oribi, Rothschild’s giraffe, black rhinos, hyena, topi, vervet monkey, impala, bush pig, honey badgers and lelwel hartebeest can be spotted in the park. More than 400 species of birds live in this park. It is a heaven for ornithologists and bird lovers, as it is a refuge of the rare African migrant- Blue swallow.
