Prague – probably one of the most exciting, ornate, bustling and historically rich cities in the whole Europe and most certainly – one of the most visited destinations. First of all, Old Prague is identified with its magnificent historical legacy and architecture. The Old Town was built between 11th and 18th century and majority of this architecture has been preserved till this very day. St. Vitus Cathedral, Hradcani Castle, Old Town Hall, Church of St. Giles, Church of St. Nicolas, Old Town Square and Powder Gate are just some of the sightseeing highlights to name. Indeed, the number of significant architectural sites in Prague is so large, that usually it is not enough with one day to fully enjoy and get to know with them all. The best advice would be to make a small itinerary prior starting sightseeing or to use the services of local guides in order not to miss some of the greatest spots.

Another integral part of Prague Old Town is its abundant nightlife. There are hundreds of bars, pubs and nightclubs according to your desires – from a placid and cultural evening with couple of drinks to crazy parties and dances till the daylight. Some of the acknowledged spots are Pivovarsky Dum on Jecna, Club Duplex, Cilibar, U Fleku, Karlovy Lazne and many others. If you are looking for more erotic service, you can visit Prague Red Light District on the streets near Wenceslas Square, where you will be able to choose from a variety of strip-clubs. However, it is rather difficult to give an advice now knowing the particular desires so grab a brochure in the local tourist information centre and choose the best offer yourself.

Excellent cultural events are another characteristic of the Old Prague. Variety of great performances are being held at such spots as Klementinum, Prague State Opera, National Theatre, Spanish Synagogue, Rudolfinum Concert Hall, Municipal House, Lobkowicz Palace at Old Castle and other. Majority of them are classical concerts and they are booked out very quickly and hence, if you want to go to some of them, reserve the tickets timely.

Prague Old Town is something that cannot leave one uninterested. Either you are looking for culture and gaining the intellectual experience or simply are looking for crazy adventures and entertainment, or both – the Old Town of Prague offers it all.
