Pico Bolivar or Mirror Peak is Venezuela’s highest mountain (about 5000 meters high) with the mountaintop permanently covered in snow and glaciers.

Pico Bolivar is a fabulous place, which is radiant with sunlight sometimes and drawn into mist sometimes. You can reach the peak by cable car. After reaching the summit, you can visit the viewing point that gives clear view of the Virgen de las Nieves or the Virgin of the Snow. If you happen to visit on a clear day, you will be able to see the Barinas City. The best time to climb the mountain is between December and March.
