The main focus of Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park is to preserve one of two karst areas with 300 caves, grottoes, and underground rivers. It also protects the limestone forest’s ecosystem. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park neighbors with the Hin Namno Nature Reserve.
