Located on Chile’s northern tip in the Andes, this park lies 14,000 feet above sea level. A haven for bird watchers, this park has over 140 species of birds apart from diverse wildlife such as guanaco, vicuna, viscacha the rodent that resembles chinchilla and the oldest flamingo in the world called the Andean flamingo. The park is also home to several lava fields, lagoons and lakes created by multiple volcanoes.
