With a floor space of at least 12.76 million square feet, the Dubai International Airport is one of the largest buildings in the world. In keeping with its large size, this airport is the 13th busiest in the world and handles record passenger traffic.
Central World, Bangkok
Central World in Bangkok is another large building in the world with a 11.0 million square feet floor space. This shopping complex features an office tower and a hotel. Owned by Central Pattana, this shopping complex was expanded in 2006.
Located in Aalsmeer, Netherlands, the Aalsmeer Flower Auction building where the auction takes place is one of the largest buildings in the world. This building has a total floor space of over 10.6 million square feet.

With a total of 10.6 million square feet, the Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 is one of the most advanced and world’s largest airport buildings. This is a hotel that features only suite rooms each room measuring about 720 square feet.
Century Global Center, China
All said and done, by the end of 2012, China was all set to beat the largest building in the world. The New Century Global Center has a total floor space of 1.7 million square meters and the building itself is 100 meters high. This building is so large that it can house about 20 Sydney Opera Houses.
