For decades already people have chosen Baikal to be their destination since plenty of really incredible stories have been heard – about the water that is unbelievably clear (you can see the bottom of the lake even though it is in the depth of more than a kilometer!), about the local culture and traditions and everything else that surrounds and is connected to this magnificent lake. You have to have a great courage to dare yourself to have a regular swim in the lake; however there is great variety of other attractions offered on the site – rock climbing, boating, fishing, flights with helicopter, spearfishing, diving etc. Of course, Baikal occupies rather significant area and hence you will find lots of interesting sightseeing highlights around it e.g. Angara Steamship, Baikal Museum, Bogoyavlensky Cathedral, Znamensky Monastery and many others.
