How to Reach Kovalam?

Easiest way to reach Kovalam is via Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram in Malayalam). The capital city of Kerala is just 16 km away. While you are in Trivandrum there are a few interesting places you should see  - the Sri Chitra Art Gallery, the Napier Museum, Ponmudi hill station, the Padmanabhaswamy Temple etc. A State owned handicrafts emporium SMSM Institute is worth a visit. It the best place to pick up ethnic curios, souvenirs, artefacts and other articles.
