Kimbe Bay Attractions
Much of the island is landscaped with volcanic cones covered with rainforest, and several of the volcanoes are active. The majority of all coral species reside on Kimbe Bay, which makes this location very important to protect, care for, and maintain. Kimbe Bay supports diving, but it also supports thousands of people because they depend on the coral reefs to live. Because Kimbe Bay is home to so many coral reefs, mangroves, seamounts, and more, it makes it that much more a priority to preserve.
