The most popular and also populated island in the Solomon islands, Guadalcanal is renowned for its historical background. During the World War II, the Japanese and American troops had intense battles in the area that are now referred as the Guadalcanal Campaign. Guadalcanal Island Activities

Most of the significant objects are situated in the capital of the island, Honiara, but there is plenty to see outside the town as well.
