Check out the Liseberg Amusement Park, which is Scandinavia’s largest. Inside you’ll see all the amusement-park-elements, from carousels to roller coaster rides, music entertainment, and more. It’s open May through August. The Botanical Gardens are sheer natural eye candy. This is the largest of its kind in Sweden (175 hectares) and inside you’ll find a bamboo grove, over 12,000 plant species, greenhouses, herb, bulb and rock gardens, a Japanese valley and more. Shopping is amazing here, held along the city’s main street called Kungsportsavenyn or Avenyn (Avenue).
