In whole Cuba, you won’t find any other historical center as large as the one in Camaguey. With numerous wonderful churches (like Cathedral de Nuestra Seniora, San Cristo del Buen Viaje) and other buildings, Camaguey has its own charm. To find out more about the history of the city, you can head to one of many museums, including, Museo Provincial Ignacio Agramonte. In the south of the historic center, where the Hatibonco River lies, you will find a wonderful farmer’s market where a great variety of fresh local food is traded.
