1. Iguazu Falls

Located across parts of Argentina and Brazil, Iguazu Falls is one of the most majestic waterfalls in the world. Meaning “big water”, Iguazu Falls has several interesting stories to tell. Spanning across more than a mile and a half of the Iguazu River, Iguazu Falls are truly majestic and even larger than the Niagara Falls. In fact, it is more than double the size of the great falls located in Canada and is one of the main highlights of Argentina Tourism.

2. Tierra del Fuego

Tierra del Fuego is a chain of islands otherwise known as an archipelago located on the southernmost tip of South America. There is lot more to the island than what meets the eye first though. The landscape of Tierra del Fuego islands is truly unique as it varies from region to region. For example, the northern area is known for its flat lands with small groups of shrubs. The area also includes sea shores, hills, grasslands as well as deciduous areas.

3. La Boca

La Boca is home to colorful houses, tango clubs, Italian taverns and Pedestrian Street. The Clara Chevalier Museum is another major attraction, which houses the paintings of Clara. 6. Mendoza

Parque San Martin Park is an important attraction in Mendoza, Argentina. It is an exquisite place to enjoy a relaxed walk or biking. It boasts of a beautiful lake, rose garden and a zoological park. Torus to wineries, wine tasting events and theme based festivals are some other key attractions of Mendoza.

7. San Martin de los Andes

Surrounded by two magnificent mountain peaks and situated near the Lacar Lake, San Martin de los Andes is a nice, small and scenic town in Argentina, situated near the capital, Chile. Parque Nacional Lanin is a grand national park that incorporates the Lanin volcano and 3 local lakes. Chapelko Ski center is another popular destination.

8. Puerto Madryn

Puerto Madryn is a port on the coasts of Argentina and is also one of the fastest growing cities in the country. From tourism to commerce, there is a lot this city has to offer. 9. El Calafate

10. Villa La Angostura

A nice, quiet village with of Villa of Angostura will make it a great start for your further exploration of the Andean Patagonia. The local lakes, river and magnificent old forests is the reason why the scenery of the village is so enjoyable and attractive to visitors that find Villa la Angostura a great hiking destination. Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes is another highlight of the area, a home for longstanding beautiful trees, some of which are 600 years old.
