Alofaaga Blowholes Trivia
The Alofaaga Blowholes were created by the flow of lava making paths or tunnels that connected with the ocean. When powerful waves come in, the water travels through the tunnels with velocity and pressure and creates a fountain that shoots high into the sky. Because of the nature of the blowholes, the surrounding rocks are slippery and dangerous and extra caution should be used when visiting.
